Hi, I'm Soco—a San Diego-based social media manager specializing in restaurants, cafes, and food brands.
I moved to San Diego from Mongolia on Christmas Day 2017 — with big dreams and a lot to prove. My first real foothold in this city was working at a ramen and steamed bun restaurant. That job didn't just pay my bills — it sponsored my green card and changed the course of my life.
From there, I spent three years as a recruiter at a healthcare company, learning how to spot talent and build systems — all while still working restaurant shifts on the side. In April 2025, I started managing social media for Komatsuya, and that's when everything clicked. What started there grew into SoCo Social Studio, which I officially launched in 2026.
I specialize in restaurants and food businesses because I genuinely understand them. I know the chaos of a Friday night rush. I know how hard owners work and how little time they have. And I know that most restaurants have an incredible story to tell — they just need someone to tell it.
That's where I come in. I handle the content, strategy, and posting — so you can focus on what you do best: feeding people and building community.
